From Mimi, our pretty little vintage ice cream van and Bertie, our restored vintage ice cream bike we serve award-winning, locally produced ice cream that will put a smile on your face and sunshine in your heart. Mimi is an original 1975 Bedford CF Ice Cream Van who has seen it all and had many different looks over her 40+ years of service with none more glamourous than her current mint and cream livery. Sourced from local ice cream makers, The Saffron Ice Cream Company, where passionate artisan ice cream makers produce their award winning creamy dairy ice cream and refreshing sorbet by hand everyday.

Their core and seasonal flavours are handcrafted in small batches of superior quality and consistency ready to be enjoyed by those far and wide.
Services
This is a little story about how one 50s loving lady (Leanne), found an original 1975 Bedford ice cream van and decided to give her a new lease of life.
More than that, it is the story of how memories of childhood can bring a little spark of sunshine in to your day and thats the experience we try to give you with Mimi, our darling little ice cream van.
Having both a love for ice cream and vintage style it was the chance of a lifetime to combine the two and share the passion for both with others.
Bertie is our Vintage Pashley No.33 Ice Cream Bike and was a real workhorse, having been originally purchased by an ice cream company on the West Coast.
Back then he came out of the Pashley factory in pure white and was used daily through the summer months over many years up until he was sold to his second owner.
It's here he was painted yellow and had been planned to be used as part of the catering team for a motocross event management company.
Unfortunately he was never used and instead sat outside under a cover developing a bad case of rust until the decision to sell him on was made.
Humphrey is our 1930's Gundle Butchers Bike that we snapped up from Mama at Mama's Shack and had it shipped down from Newcastle.
Having done some research on this bike the Leonard Gundle Motor Co Ltd of Hockley, Birmingham, created the Model "T" as part of its range of carrier bicycles pre-WW2 and it would've been used to deliver essential goods to customers pre, during and post WW2.
The last known use of Humphrey was as a promotional tool for a cafe in Newcastle outside of their premises.
Why a butchers bike?
Whether you're putting on a public event, a party for a special birthday, a corporate function or celebrating your nuptuals, Mimi will be on hand to add that special touch and be part of the everlasting memories created that day.
Ensuring she's dressed right for the occasion, Mimi will endevor to co-ordinate her theme and colours when she rolls out her bunting, ensuring that as well as standing out from the crowd she also looks like she belongs at your event.
For public events we offer a full coverage on our social media channels leading up to, during and post event with our Blog, ensuring we do our part in making your event a success.
Without others sharing the love of vintage style and ice cream we wouldn't be able to fulfil the job we love and have a passion for.
What makes it truly worth it are the lovely people we meet along the way and below are just a few of the kind words left for us by those so far.
We have also made a lot of friends on our journey so far who we've worked alongside and witnessed the high standard, quality and level of professionalism they all work to which gives us the confidence to proudly recommend them to our clients.
