Jafvans was founded in 1959 by late John Arthur Fisher (his initials JAF make up the name!).
It all started at his own house in Northolt with his own Ford Prefect.
In the early 1970s, as the business progressed, the company moved to its current location at 400 Northolt Road, South Harrow.
The property was a Newsagent with a big garden at the back.
In 1997, Mr Fisher decided to retire and company was taken over by Stephen Blake, who had worked for the company since 1973.
Since the takeover, the company has grown and currently has over 130 vehicles of various makes and models and the company is constantly trying to improve to the highest standards.

Jafvans Removals are used to dealing with any type of domestic house removal.
2nd floor flat or a five bedroom house, we can provide you with a service that will not cost you an arm and a leg!
For house removals, we would normally provide you with a luton box van with tail lift and two men - the only thing you have to take care of is the packing.
Of course, if you have plenty of helpers and if you would prefer to have only one man with van, we can provide you with that too.
As our charges are based on a hourly rate, cheapest house removals are always in West London area - especially in a 10 mile radius from our office in South Harrow.

DRIVING LICENCE - if UK licence, you will also need to know your National Insurance number to do the check online (unless you've obtained the code from 'Share My Driving Licence'website).

Any other licence than those from EU, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand, must be referred for Insurance clearance by contacting us first.
It normally takes up to 24 hours to be processed.
We strongly advise that if you are booking a vehicle to be collected within next 24-48 hours, you ring the respective office and confirm the availability.
